YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOME
For a lot of people, flower is where cannabis begins. It’s the most familiar format, and for many customers it stays the favorite.
At Coastal Cannabis in Vista, our flower shelf leans on California cultivators and a rotating mix of strains, sizes, and price points. Whether you roll your own, pack a bowl, or use a dry herb vaporizer, there’s something here that fits.
We serve both recreational customers and medical patients, so the counter conversation adapts to whichever you are.
Strain labels are a helpful starting point, even if they don’t tell the whole story.

Usually picked for daytime and social settings. People tend to describe these strains as brighter or more upbeat.
A blend of both lineages, which is why hybrids cover so much ground. Most of the strains on today’s market fall here.
Terpenes are the aromatic compounds that give each strain its smell, whether that’s citrus, pine, or something earthy.
Many experienced customers now shop by aroma as much as by strain type. If a jar smells good to you, that’s worth paying attention to.
Medical patients with a valid recommendation can purchase larger amounts under California’s medical rules.
Some customers know their strain by name. Others walk in with nothing more than “something for a quiet Sunday,” and that’s a perfectly good place to start. A few things are worth weighing: the time of day you’ll be using it, how much THC you’re comfortable with, and which aromas you enjoy.
Higher THC doesn’t always mean a better experience. Plenty of regulars prefer mid-range potency and a terpene profile they love.
If you’re unsure, ask to smell a display jar. Our team is happy to walk you through a few options side by side.
Our selection moves quickly, so what you see below reflects today’s live inventory.
We focus on local California cultivators wherever we can.
Ask about any jar and you’ll get a real answer, not a script.

Yes. We keep display jars so you can check aroma before choosing. Just ask anyone on the team.
A gram or an eighth (3.5g) is a comfortable place to start. If it becomes a favorite, 5g, 10g, a quarter ounce, and a full ounce are all on the shelf.
An airtight glass jar kept somewhere cool and dark works well. Vista’s coastal humidity can shift, so avoid leaving flower in a car or near a window.
For recreational customers 21 and older, and for medical patients 18 and older with a valid physician’s recommendation. Valid government-issued photo ID required. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not drive or operate machinery after consuming cannabis. Cannabis purchased in California may not leave the state.
